WARREN John Warren (c.1726-c.1806) married Martha DuBose (c.1731-c.1808). We have no record of where John Warren came from (discussion). His son John was baptized 29 May 1753 in Prince Frederick Parish Winyah, Craven County, South Carolina. He received several land grants on Lynches Creek between 7 Jan 1752 and 3 Oct 1769. He signed a petition 5 May 1758 for a road to be built from there to Charleston. John and his son John served in the Revolutionary War in Capt. Elias DuBose' Company of Volunteer Militia from St David's Parish, 1776. John and his son Joseph sold corn to the Revolutionary Militia in 1781. When the war went badly in South Carolina in 1781, he moved to Brunswick County, Virginia. After the war, he moved to Liberty County, Georgia, where three of his children had moved about 1778. He and his wife were still alive for the Georgia Land Lottery of 1805, and Martha was listed in the 1807 Lottery.. . 1. John I. Warren (18 Dec 1752-22 May 1821) married 23 Jan 1773, Elizabeth Perkins(5 Apr 1758-22 Jul 1811) daughter of Samuel Perkins and G Rees. She was baptized 22 Oct 1761 at Prince Frederick Parish Winyah, Craven County, South Carolina. John was baptized 29 May 1753 in the same parish. He served in the Revolutionary War in Capt. Elias DuBose' Company of Volunteer Militia from St David's Parish in 1776. He later also served in the 6th Company, Col. John Thomas' Regiment, Georgia Militia, February 1778, for which he received land in Liberty County, Georgia. They moved to Liberty County, Georgia, by 1783, were he was a deacon at the Midway Church 1791-1810, and Justice of the Peace in December, 1791. In 1810, they moved to Sandy Hook, Mississippi, on the Pearl River just opposite the point where the Louisiana State Line meets the river.
