Johann Adam Hoffheinz was born 10 March 1731/2 in Ebersbach, Hesse, (or Bergebersbach) died 22 Mar 1785 in Dover Township, York Co, Penn, married 2 Aug 1761 Anna Elizabetha Bach, born 22 Feb 1726/7 in Mandeln, Hesse, daughter of Hermann Bach and Anna Habich, died after 1778. They emigrated from Ewersbach, Hesse, arriving in Philadelphia 25 Nov 1763 on the Pallas. Baptized and married at Margaretenkirche, Ebersbach. (The church at Bergebersbach served a number of nearby communities, including Ebersbach. Several of these towns grew together, and the combination was renamed Ewersbach in 1937.)
