This would indicate they were both born in 1766, making them 31 years of age at their marriage, unusual; in that era. They were married in Jefferson Co, Tennessee. The bondsman was John Hickman, apparently the brother of James. But the Census of 1830, lists them both as between 50 and 60 years of age. The Census of 1840 lists James (living with Laban in Caesar's Creek) as between 60 and 70. This indicates birthdates between 1770 and 1780.
