CUTRER

Isaiah Couturier, said to have been born about 1650 in Alsace, France, died in Bristol, England, though no date of death is given; married Elizabeth.  He and his sons Jacob and Daniel were naturalized British citizens 10 Oct 1688. [Protestant Exiles from France in the Reign of Louis XIV, David Agnew, 1874, page 51] I have not seen any evidence of his connection to the Daniel of South Carolina, who is estimated to have been 8 years old in 1688, and would probably not have been included in a naturalization.

Daniel Couturier, said to have been born about 1658 in Metz, France, married Francoise Braconnier about 1680 in Berlin, Prussia. His connection to Daniel of South Carolina unknown.

Isaac Couturier, native of Bordeaux, joined the Huguenot Church at the Artillery, Spitalfields,  London 6 May 1705 (Huguenot Society of London v.42 p.153) His connection to Daniel unknown.

Daniel Couturier received 500 acres of land in Berkley Co, South Carolina, 3 Mar 1710. He died 1744 in Charleston, South Carolina, married secondly 1733 Joyce Griffin. Daniel's will dated 3 Sep 1744 named four sons:
